3rd grade

 I love 3rd grade! I have so many friends already.3rd grade is soooooooooooooooooooo fun!

My Exciting First Post

I decided to blog because I had about 27 seconds of unscheduled time during my days, and it needed to be filled. You'd think that short time span would keep my posts short, but my verbosity (sure, it's a word) will squelch that thought.

My blog is about money. Specifically, how I don't have it. When asked to describe myself, I'm first and foremost a mommy and a wife. My family definitely comes first in my life, which is why I work so darn hard. My "career," if you can call it that, is a 911 dispatcher. I guess that doesn't really describe it though. I answer 911 calls, the regular phone, police, fire, and EMS radio transmissions, run warrants...overworked mule is probably a good description of my job. I do that on the graveyard shift. Then I rush home to my beautiful daughter, and most days babysit a friend's baby. I'm trying to get more daycare customers as we speak.

On top of all that, I decided to go back to school this semester. Finishing a math degree, of all things. And, for good measure, throwing in a minor in economics. I'm thinking my brain has been starved of some oxygen, because my plate is definitely full.
